Jesus christ, I just noticed how detailed it was VO, gj.
I've done this for me and a buddy of mine. I can't say how many times I've taken off my door panels but looks like I'll be doing it again but I need to cut through my sound deadener. me = pwned

This was so helpful. I do not do any work on my car but after reading this I decieded to try to fix the motor. I spent 20 bucks at the auto zone buying exactly what you used to complete the job. Duck Tape, panel tool and QD Electrical Spray. Job took me 2 hours being very careful. Now my window works like new! Thanks for the great write-up.
Did you use anything particular to remove the tape residue from the window and rubber trim?
Thanks again!

For the tape residue I used Goo-Gone. WD-40 works also...

Looks like I'm headed to my dads to try this out.
It looks complicated, but glad to hear it only took 2 hours.
Hopefully I'll have my window working by tonight when I goto sleep.
Off to autozone
