Default Car died!

ok so i took my car out tonight after work after about 5 km of driving my gas light came on. it said i had 50 miles left then after driving about quater of a mile it had dropped 14 miles so i stopped got my food and then went to get gas by the time i hit the gas station it was at 33 so i put 30 dollors supreme in and took off. by the time i got up the street about 2 miles i went to take off from the stop light and it was acting like a person who cant drive a standard all jumpy and stuff my sevice engine soon light came on along with my vdc and slip light. when i went to take off a gain the car woul drev to 3k rpm then start hoping threw the rpms over an array of like 800 high and low so i had to stop again. i shut the car off then turned it back on all the lights were off. so i sat in neutral and reved it a little after it hit 3k rpm again it starting to act like the fuel was being cut off then getting it back again and bogging. then after that it started to do it at 2k rpm i barely got it home

I just had a new clutch masters flywheel and exedy clutch put in the car is a 2004.5 touring model with 32k miles I need help i have to drive this car 5000km home in less then a month thanks.

Things to start looking

TPS (throttle positioning sensor)
gas pedal assembly
MAF
fuel pump

Start off by using a multimeter to check voltage to the TPS.

As for mine I went through all of that and could find out what it was. Thought it was the ECU and replaced it to no avail. Brought it to the dealer and they tinkered around and said it was the fuel tank rusted up inside. I bought a new tank and was going to do it myself. I drove it down the road there and it did fine so I went ahead and brought it home. That was last week. No problems since.

It's the sensor on the side of the throttle body.

Do you have the service manual? I have it on CD. I'll try to take a pic of my screen if you want. I don't think it will let me copy and paste it to an image file.

If it was bad gas I don't think the revs would fluctuatelike that. It would either just idle like crap or not run.

As for my car all I know is what was in post #4. I'm not really sure. I assume the tank was dirty and they cleaned it up some at the dealer. If it does it again I'll replace the tank with the new one I got.

Yeah, that's why I was saying I don't think it's bad gas. Let me know what those codes are. I'm willing to bet that atleast one is in common with the ones I had.

ok went back down I had the battery unhooked hoping maybe it was just a ecu mess up well the car idels fine but once it hits 3k rpm it goes all crazy again and bogs out I hooked up the scan tool and it threw no codes. I am unsure tho if that is because there were no lights on.
