I need everyones help. I am attempting to compile a list of how many people had transmission problems with their new Z. My car is currently at the dealer who is attempting to do everything in their power "not" to cover my transmission under warranty, so I need some amunition to go there with when they deny my claim. This is all I ask of you:please respond only if you have had a transmission problem and only respond "yes I had a transmission problem". I please ask you not to go into detail on this post due to the fact that I would like to keep the responses as simple as possible, for the stupid people that work for Nissan.
And I know about the search function but this is for my own personal knowledge and use so I would kindly ask anyone who wishes to get off topic to pleas just PM me and not post anything other than my desired response on this thread. I thank all of you Z owners in advance.

 

My Z has had the trans,driveshaft and mount replaced. Whirring noise. See my post, drivetrain noise with no resolve. The syncros work good though.

 

Define transmission problems

My first two gears are just rough. What are problems are there?

 

Transmission replaced on 7/14... new transmission already having same problems
