Default Any Voided Warranty Stories Yet??

I did a search and I couldn't find any.

As we start pushing the envelope with the Z, we are bound to start hearing of these awful stories about some voided warranties. I'm interested in items like cams, and ECU, and of course TT, or SC. I know the SC & TT are out of the question for warranty, but as for the other items it seems like its all speculation, or which dealer you go to, but in any case lets hear some stories..

I think you make a good point. I would hate to void the warranty on my 40k car for a $500 mod. I'm not sure what the best way to go about this. So far what I have read, different dealers tread aftermarket products differently. I guess my advice would be to stick with one Nissan service facility. Before doing any mods, contact that service department and find out if they will cover it. As far as the ECU goes, I don't know how that wouldn't void the warranty. Say the after marker ECU leans your engine out too much and destroys it. I have a hard time beliving that Nissan would cover the repair bill for that.

My 2 cents
