Not sure what you mean by that. The article is nothing earth-shattering - it's common knowledge that the oil change places push the 3000 mile oil change to sell more product and services. People should be following the manufacturers recommendation which in our case is 3750 miles.

I like the idea of the sensor that detects when the oil gets dirty. Nothing beats that because of the variations in drivers and locations that makes the 3750, 5000, 7500 or 10000 miles intervals somewhat useless.

 

Yeah, nothing to write home to betty about I guess, but I thought it was interesting.
