What the heck is my A/C doing??
2004 Track - 20K Miles
Sometimes when I have my a/c on the coldest setting (or almost coldest) with circulation turned on it will just crap out. It will change from circulate to fresh air on its own and the air coming though the vents is really hot. If I press the circulate button it will auto jump back to fresh air. After a few times of pushing it, it will finally stay on re-circulate and start cooling again.
This has started happening alot. Sometimes when I first get in the car and sometimes after I've been on the road for awhile.
Only thing I can think is it may be low on refridgerant?? I don't know.
Thanks

That's the first thing I thought about. But sadly, nothing is set to auto. I have one set to "dash vents" one set to "60 degrees" and the other set to around the 2 o'clock position, so about medium speed.
i was going to bring that up but i knew it was redundant. you are probably having an electronic malfunction, which is not really user-serviceable. i very highly doubt it has anything to do with your r134a.
