Default A/C Repair

I've got a friend who has a Z. He had the Nismo CAI installed by a dealership in Texas... but he's currently stationed here in NC, and couldn't find his receipt anyway. Apparently, the CAI wasn't installed correctly, as it rubbed a pin-hole into his low-pressure A/C line. As a result, he has no a/c, since his refrigerant leaked out.

My question is, how do we get that pin-hole repaired? Is that even possible? Or do we just get the line replaced?

you will need to replace the high pressure AC line. Nissan has it for 70 bucks and it comes with the O RINGS. then you take off the front windshield wipers, front cowl, all of the plastic covers , then use an AC disconnect tool. Make sure everything is on right and then get it refilled with refriderant.

i tried to aluminum weld that pinhole shut but the pressure is too much for it to stay leak free. Just get a new line to make sure it doesn't mess up again. Access to an Ac REFILL machine can get pricey.

Cool, thanks. Wasn't sure if I could weld it, and get away with it, or not... Will let them know to get a new line.
