I know davidv is going to post a screen shot of where i can find this but....

I know im going to need a tranny at some point. I want a warranty for my Z. Is it worth finding an "aftermarket" one or should i just wait until the tranny goes and pay for it then. warranty looks like $1500 from what ive seen on the posts and the tranny looks like $3200.

I know they can be a rip off so is there any good ones out there?
Where can i find them?
Does nissan extend theirs if mine is out and im not the original owner?

Well bumping this with a similar question. Would Nissan extend warranty? I have the convertible and warranty will run out in a year. No issues right now with it but trying to cover my bases.

Maybe this idea will work instead of a warranty. Every month put $100 in an envelope for repairs. If you need the money for repairs you have it. If you don't then the money is yours to spend. Sort of like your own warranty without the overhead.

 

HAHAHA I love it. We both know that envelopes of money turn into beer very easily.... either way im drunk and cant drive or i have money and can.
