My Z is Bouncing at highway speed?
just got my Z about 3 weeks ago. As you all will agree, what a great car! However, I have noted that on Highways at speeds over 55 the Z bounces from time to time going down the road. I have driven one road in several different cars and have not experenced the bouncing before.
When I noticed this the first time in the Z I just thought it was because of tight supsension on the Z. However I have read other postings about extreme inside front tire ware and am wondering if the bouncing is a for-runner to the tire ware issue.
Thanks for any insight on this

over certain concrete roads, the car sets up a bouncing- but, so does my Caravan- just at a different speed. My F40 is practically unstable over the same road unless I am at 80+---- so, it is just a question of the reaction to the road surface- suspensions cannot handle every possible situation- the system is going to resonate at some frequency. On a decent surface, the car practically drives itself.
I don't think the bounce is related to feathering.
I do think there is a problem with the Z's suspension though, and it isn't that it is too stiff, it is that there is a mismatch between the shocks and springs. The shocks are not stiff enough for the springs, so they can't control the rebound well enough. This creates the porpoising you are talking about on certain surfaces.
I suspect that stiffer shocks will solve this, once the aftermarket comes around in a couple of months. Also, people say the Eibach springs are a good, cheap solution that is available now.
