Window "Opening" At Freeway Speed?? (*Searched*)
Well I went on a semi-long distance trip in the Z this weekend and noticed something odd about my passenger window. When i get up to speed on the freeway, sometimes 75-80, sometimes 85-90, with the windows all the way up, it sounds like once I get up around that speed, air starts coming through the window, like it opened up a little... Any idea what could be causing this problem? I searched window problems, and the main problem people have been having is obviously the stuck motor, but that isn't the case with mine, it works perfect, isn't getting stuck, just seems to "leak" at freeway speeds. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated Thanks

My job as a Moderator is not to spoon feed you answers. My job is to uphold the integrity of the site and enforce the TOUs.
If you'd look around, you'll notice I have created many sticked How-To thread in several sections. I have had this car since day 1 it came out and just about dissasembled and reassembled every part on it. I have snapped countless pictures and posted invaluable info on this site. My job is not to sit here and do the work for you, so you can be lazy. Search and read, then search some more. Learn how to use the search engine to it's full extent and find answers for yourself, instead of getting tired of reading after 5mins and expecting someone to spoon feed you the answer.
Do not tell me what my duties are, as if I'm obligated to give you the answer. Ask a question, that I in fact know hasn't been covered a billion times, and perhaps I'll give you the answer...

This same exact issue has not been covered at all according to the 14 pages of threads I have searched. All I can find are issues with the window motor failing, the window opening randomly, the feature which slightly opens and closes the window when you open and close the door no longer working and your how-to on cleaning the window motor. I have not found one single thread, within the at least 65 threads I have read through, dealing with an air leak, or the window slightly opening at high speeds.
I honestly do not think you really found the solution to my problem "within 5 minutes." I am not asking to be spoon fed the answer to my problem, I searched at least 10 different combinations of the problem I am having and still couldn't find the answer to my problem so I asked, which I believe is what you keep telling me to do.
What is the purpose of a forum where people who have useful information just keep it to themselves and direct people to search without even fully reading the subject at hand? I take it you just assumed you knew exactly what I was asking for but in reality you didn't fully read my original post and therefore just told me to search. I would love to see the "billion" threads that covered this same topic. I am eagerly awaiting you to prove me wrong

Really?
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeally?
OP, I really hope that you are fawking kidding us all. You searched?
Where did you search? In your kitchen? In the elevator at the office?
How about you eagerly check the sticky thread regarding the window motor that none other than our own VO posted. Either that, or your door is ajar

I understand you have posted tons of stickied threads and taken your car apart a bunch of times, but that doesn't mean anything in the sense of being a moderator. Any given member could assemble and disassemble their car just the same. They could make "How-to" threads and have them stickied and I bet they could probably even take pictures just like you. You aren't a mod directly for those reasons, aren't you a mod because you are so experienced on these forums thus being able to help people who aren't? Call me crazy but that just makes the most sense, especially when you had the thread in front of you. I've managed plenty of forums and have more accumulative posts than you do on here, so don't assume I'm just some random who is pretending to know what he's talking about. Mods are Mods to mods the forum, to help the users and stuff like that, 70% of what you said had no validity to my point at all.

To the OP, again, I say redefine your search parameters. Search by thread title only. Narrow down your search to a specific section. Use key words only. Do not use words such as, "As, is, the".
My search turned up many pages worth of valuable info. Just skimming through them I found the answer you sought after, on the 4th page...

I don't mind helping out. This thread doesn't have a whole lot of info, but it's a step in the right direction.
