So I just got my carbon fiber a pillars in and am unable to transfer the old weather stripping because it's kinda worn out and I feel needs to be replaced. The only problem is I can't find it anywhere but @ the Nissan dealer for 183.00 a piece!!! WTF, Does anyone have any sugguestions for me on what I could do? Or should I just suck it up and get the weather stripping?

 

anyone know . . . .has anyone ever replaced stock/OEM A Pillars with CF ones? anything would help, thanks

what do mean? worn out.i changed mine cause the double sided tape can never be applied the same as factory in my opinion.buy new ones..if its the same wheatherstrip im thinking of. unless your windshield needs replacing,i did mine and the glass guy asked insurance for new wheather strips cause of tape on them and they ok the new strips,both sides...

 

How did they find the weather stripping for the a-pillar I am looking for the same thing and the dealer near me says that I have to buy th whole a-pillar just to get the weather stripping and I would be more than happy to spend $183.00 on that than $368.00 for each side. I also cannot find it anywhere.
