That is in the Nissan Extended Warranty!
My 05 Nav motorized door (NIssan stopped doing motorized after 06, hmmm, I wonder why?), anyway after owning the ZR for a year, the door stopped working, Nissan replaced the door and motor, no questions asked. Fast forward to today, basically 4 years after owning the ZR, my door stops working again!
NO problem, I think, I purchased the Gold warranty, 70K or 6 years, good until Jan 2012, with a $50 deductible.
Guess what the dealer and Nissan USA said, the extended warranty DOES not cover so called trim items, and the Nav door is a trim item. UN ****ing real! I am so pissed, never had one claim against them. GOing to the ripoff finance person and cancelling my remainder of 3 years!
Don't bother with the extended warranty or read the fine ****ing print!
