Noticed lately my 1st and 2nd gears have started to get really notchy. Almost to the point where it is hard to get it into first gear.

I know that 03-05's had problems with the 1st and 2nd gear synchros but I haven't read anything about the 2006. I'm assuming I should take it in to the dealer? I have 47k so I am assuming it should be fully covered.

depends what it is just because its hard to put into gear doesnt mean they will replace the trans. it would have to grind alot for them to replace it. It sounds like your shifter plate. Id try playing with that.

double check your fluid and be sure you have the right kind may want to change it and try messing with the shifter plate alot of problems can be solved by that.

Yep that's what I got is Amsoil. It's weird most days it shifts fine but every once in a while it gets really notchy.
