im not sure if im the only person with the problem but theres alot of creaking noise when im at complete stop. im sitting at a light and when my car is even in neutral.. i step on my clutch pedal and u can hear the creaking noise. and when i slowly let go of the pedal and put my foot on the gas pedal u can still hear the creaking noise. the problem never occurs when im driving and with speed. anyone know what the problem can be and how to fix? maybe less grease under my pedal? answers please... its buggin the crap out of me!!! thanks!

 

If the sound is coming from the outside I have the same problem. I took it in to get looked at and they couldn't figure out the problem and said it wasnt dangerous.just an annoying sound.

 

not dangerous? they would say some sh*t like that...

 

are you saying the actual noise is coming from the pedal? because i have noticed here lately since it has been cooling off here in TN that my clutch pedal is squeaking/creaking also. Im guessing the most likely culprit is the master/slave cylinder

 

yeh thats what one of my boys was saying the other day. i wonder how much it would be to get fixed..

 

yes yes, my car does the same thing... EVEN it is NEW car..
1-2 gears grids..
and when im about to shift to 2nd gear from first gear i gotta push little harder to shift into 2nd and it cranks while shifting.. andsometimes RPM drops really fast and car chassis jerks..

What model do you have? Base, Performance or Touring? Is the sound coming from outside the car near the rear tires and sounded like click...click...click...etc? Does it go away when you start going a little faster? Because when i first bought my car a long long time ago. I thought there was a problem when i dont even know **** bout the Z, until i found out that Touring models and Up like GrandTouring, Nismo, they have LSDs and ALL LSD makes clicking or creaking noise like. Let me know how that goes.

That's normal? I thought that's axle clicking. I have the problem when i turn right, but not left. And can hear it a bit when going straight next to a wall.

 

My clutch did it too. This may sound wierd but take your shoe off and push in your clutch. I had shoes that actually made the squeak sound/feel a lot louder than it was. The rubber was rubbing on the metal pedal. Like I said I know it sounds weird but you never know.
