coil feels like the springs is really compressed and not enough travel distant for the shocks, hense the reboud is horriable. The werid thing is ride height isnt lower much at all@_@

I have the KW V3s and they don't make any noises

I have mine set max drop in the rear and even in the front, not sure how much that is but I have no wheel gap at all. The ride is great for how low it is... I'll raise it up some when I have time but no complaints here.

coilovers usually don't go bad in 2 months. i think it's all in your head. the reason i say that is because i have bilstein coils and i never really noticed some of the harshness until recently. and these coils are pretty good for ride quality. like some of the posts say... once you get rims, get aftrmrkt suspension, and lower it (even 1.5) you're not gonna ride like a lexus. or u might wanna spend above the 2.5k bracket

if preload is heavy then try to decrease that however that still would not give reason as to why it rides rough.. Preload should have been set before installation. And even if there was preload and worse comes to worse the springs have sagged it should have alleviated some of the load and actually rode better.

preload is adjusting the preloaded tension put on the coil spring by the lower collar. the spring should be held snug, so it does not rattle, but should not have pressure on it.

I think that is a pretty accurate definition though I could have missed something.

I would think improper preload could cause ride quality issues, and too little preload can cause noise issues I would think as well. but I have no experience to say this unfortunately.
