Default IPMD (relay) questions

(intelligent power distribution module)

my ride:
350z 05' anni - Base

a few of my relays were damaged from moisture and a pin in my IPDM is busted and corroded so my guru said its best to just replace the whole box... I found a guy on the forums who has a IPDM from a 05' G35 coup. I was gonna buy this one assuming it might be the same but then I called Nissan and they told me that the part numbers were not the same so now im kinna sketchy about it.

the dealership also told me that the part numbers are the same for any Z from "LATE MODEL" 04 (how late I dont know) to 07'.... anyone know if the part number dont mean much dealing with the IPDM from 05 z - 05 g or should i just go ahead and get a new one from the dealership and not risk it... i would rather go used and save some cash but dont want a bigger issue like a fried ecu if i dont know for sure...

thanks in advance

If the part numbers are not the same, don't risk it. There must be a difference between the two with different numbers.

got cha... thanks tim... hey time by chance could you run a check when you are free to see which IPDM's might be safe to use? like which part numbers will match that in my anni 05' base?

that should help narrow things down a tad bit.
