I just got back from a 4 week vacation, my 350Z has not been driven during that time. Just went out side to crank and let run, was going to take it to get the oil changed. When I cranked the car there was a noise, i turned the car off and started checking it out. When I turn the key foward to be able to turn on the stereo see how much gas there is. I noticed there is 0 oil pressure (correct me if I'm wrong but you only get that reading if the car is running right?) I checked there is oil in the engine has anyone else ever expierenced a strange noise when cranking after sitting for a long time? I need help I leave to go to VA in the morning getting ready to deploy to Iraq any help would be great.

 

Just a suggestion. Put a subject in the subject line like

Squeaking brakes

instead of

Help

Need help immediately

or

If you don't help right away I will die!

 

Probably just thick oil from sitting for so long. Start it, let it idle for awhile and warm up. Make sure oil is full and pressure gauge reads where it should be when car is running.
