Angry 3rd manual trans in 11 months WTF??

I just heard from the dealership that they will have to replace my transmission again! This will make the third transmission installed in this car. It's always been the same problem...3rd gear grind. I figured if I brought the car in early, as soon as the problem started to manifest itself, Nissan could repair the trans, not replace it.

Now I'm seriously considering exercising my lemon-law rights.

I love the car's looks, but sheesss this is getting rediculous.

The dealership is Don Davis in Arlington, Texas.

I mentioned the cupping on the tires, causing serious road-noise and vibrations. Previously they swapped the front tires as per the TSB and acted like that was a fix! Now I'm quoted $1K for a new set of four Potenzas. I'm still arguing over the root cause with the sales technician. I don't want to buy tires if they only last 3K miles before they need rotating. She tried to convince me that the problem is with the tire, not the car.

I purchased the Touring model with every option available...including the Extended Warranty (It was a gut feeling).
The total price on the sales invoice was just over $41K- feel my pain now?

damn, that sucks. Look at it as an opportunity to upgrade.
