Default Erratic Idle

I've searched and searched and have not found a single scenario that fits mine. Erratic RPMs @ 3500-4000
In the morning I'll turn the car on, let it warm up then leave for work.
I'll take off for work, and the car runs fine if I'm shifting under 3 just taking it easy. But when I want to get up and go the car will accelerate normally until I get to 3500 and that's when the RPM SPEED reduces I'd say by 80-90 percent until it barely passes 4 then it just picks up as if it hadn't stopped. Commute to work is roughly 40 minutes and Houston Rush Hour sucks, I'll sometimes leave it in 4th, letting the RPMS reach 4500 sometimes even 5 just because I know I'm going to slow down soon, so I don't even bother changing the gear. But when I disengage the clutch when coming to a stop the RPMs drop down to 1 bounce back up to 2 then idles down to 1500 until I come to a complete stop, when at a complete stop it drops down to 1000-1100. I've replaced the TB, and I've done all the relearns, and I've unplugged the battery. My brother and I are starting to think faulty MAFS, but I want to rule anything else it may be out before replacing that. Any ideas???

are the rpms jumping under throttle at 3500-4000? if so clutch is burned out.

I'm guessing MAF sensor or a vacuum leak. Or possibly a clogged PCV. That idle speed is way high and that is not clutch related, I don't think.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I've thought of those three particular things as well. Now the stall from 3500-4000 doesn't happen all the time. Once I've already taken it past the threshold a couple of times it goes away and it seldom returns. SES before I replaced the TB was the irregular Idle Air reading, this time around I have yet to check it. Will do this upcoming Friday. Any other thoughts and words of wisdom?
