Took on some nasty pothole damage to one of my rims. It's not really noticeable, but it bugs the hell out of me. Cosmetic damage only. I've got some touch-up paint, but I need to smooth/sand the scraped area first.

You have to register to read the forum, but the article there is definitely the best I've seen for a DIY wheel scratch repair.

 

Thanks for the link! Damn, that's hardcore. I don't think I'm that brave. I'll probably just sand it down and hit it up with touch up paint from a brush.
