Maintenance
So just a minor question to me maybe a major one to others, but do you find the maintanence that nissan listed to be right as far as what to change and to inspect? I have put only 4k miles on the car since i bout it last july which puts it between 40 and 41k, but i haven't done any of the maintenance besides the normal stuff like oil change, new front tires, washer fluid, and check the belts for cracks.. So i mean i haven't had to replace any yet and according to nissan i was suppose to around the 30k mark (not sure if they were or not). I do plan on getting a cooling system flush before the summer gets here but thats if from what i can see. Have you guys religously followed the nissan maintenance?
I follow it but but I do almost all of it myself. Dealer charges for those items are a major rip-off, especially the "inspect" this or that. I need to pay someone else to look at my car? Don't think so. Of course I am keeping mine for life or until the wheels fall off so I have no incentive to protect the so called resale value either.

Just follow the maintenance schedule and you will be good.
You will learn about your car, and maybe do some extra stuff:
1. Swap tires depending on wear.
2. Tighten the bolt on the drivers door hinge.
3. Periodically clean the air filter.
