good or bad to switch back to reg. oil?
currently using mobile 1 full syn oil now..tho i travel alot in my car, the oil tend to "get drained" about .25/quart...
so question here: can i go back to regular 10w-30 oil? ..will this hurt at all?
i did some search but no help..just need a simple answer..thx for the time...
btw if anyones in warner robins, ga..need help in changing tranny fuild and diff..

yes expensive...
every month or two, my car gets to 3,000 miles and i have to add .25 quart per week...
so i'm thinking of going back to 10w30 penzoil regular oil....i think $6 for a 5 quart is better compared to spending about $30/month on mobil..
imo

I'm using Amsoil ASL 5w30 full synthetic and changing it at 6 months or 7500 miles since that is the maximum recommended interval. Should be no warrenty hassel if it ever came up. No need to do 3000 mile changes with full synthetic. I figure I can do full synthetic myself twice a year for a lot less $$ than going to the quick change guys 4 times a year for dino oil.
If you do switch back there should be no problem.
