Default Clutch problems!

Since my new clutch install was done (500 miles ago), I have had an incredible amount of clutch chatter starting in first and shifting to second. The chatter only appears after I have been driving the car for at least 20 minutes, otherwise no such issues. Also another strange issue that I fear is related occurs when I pull hard on the highway - the clutch engagement point moves significantly lower, closer to the floor! First time I felt this it really jerked the car. I have since tested it and indeed the engagement point moves with whether or not I am pulling hard or just cruising (I really do not think this is normal).

Any advice?? It is under warranty so I can easily take it in for repairs. The synchros and bearings were also replaced with the clutch.

BTW my Z is an '03 MT performance. Thanks.

Well I guess nobody had any idea what it was... so I took the liberty to ask my motor-savvy friend who quickly identified the problem. He used a lot of jargon explaining a clutch to me, but what he eventually said is that the clutch was not installed properly, or secured tightly enough and it vibrates with engagement/disengagement. I set up an appointment to take it back in so they can fix what they messed up.

Glad you found out what the problem was. Sometimes people don't respond for some reason I don't understand.

Sometimes the chatter is actually from the carbon fiber driveshaft vibrating (seems to be only at lower rpms), on some of the Z's with aftermarket clutch/flywheel, perhaps thats maybe what you are hearing. The 350Z does have a good amount of drivetrain noise thats normally absorbed by the dual mass flywheel but seems to get louder with age or aftermarket drivetrain parts.

On second thought you know what it could be? Maybe they installed the clutch disc on backwards? I heard of someone on G35 driver did that and it started to do something like what you're describing.
