Default brembo caliper leaking need help!!!

so i went to bleed my brakes this weekendand when it came time to bleed the last caliper (front driver side) i noticed the bleeder screw had rust at the top where the cap is at.

after applying the hose to bleed it, and unscrewing the bleeder, a lot of rust shot out and no other fluid came out. when removing the bleeder valve completely, i noticed the threads were slightly damaged.

i went to the store, bought a tap (m10-1.0) and then bought speed bleeders to replace the old one. once cleaning the hole and re-tapping it, i placed the new bleeder.

once i did the bleeding and cleaned everything out, i took it for a spin only to notice that it was leaking. it was not leaking from the thread, but instead from the hole in the bleeder valve.

i tourqed it at 10 ft-lb and still noticed a leak.

has any one had this problem and how did you go about it???
please help, dont have too much money to buy a new one but will spend the money to fix and get it right.

You are using a speed bleeder correct?

Maybe it's not shut all the way? or that it might be defective?

Since u said its not coming from the threads i think it's just the bleeder is bad.

+1. The screw you have is probably bad. Just go out and buy a new one and replace. That should fix it.

Wait, you tapped the hole with the caliper still in place, wouldnt you just get alot of burrs and debris inside the caliper from the tap?

BTW some speed bleeders are too short to be used on the Brembo caliper, the pointy tip doesnt reach the tapered seat inside the caliper which is why you may have damaged the threads and is leaking since its too short to reach the seat.
