Default HELP Please! Weird Leaking place

So it has been raining for days now. Last night was horrible. Wind, thunder, lightning and lots and lots of rain. Anyway, I got ready for work and on my way out, it was still raining.... when I opened the car door, my driver side rug was all wet! After looking around, I saw that the water was coming from where the pedals are! Now im not sure if its coming from behind the steering wheel or not, but its a big issue! Does anyone know of this ever happening or where the water might be leaking in from? Id really appreciate some feedback! Thanks

Well, If the break resevoir cover under the hood is broken or not there the water COULD be leaking into it and down behind the pedals. Someone installed an aftermarket sound system in my car and the wires run down that hole and they come out just above the clutch pedal. Other than that don't know where else it could be coming from, sorry.

i have the exact same problem you are having. i had an aftermarket stereo installed and they ran the power cord down the same hole. after that my car started leaking small amounts of water down what seems to be the pedal. ive been in iraq for 6 months now so i cant really remember the exact spot where it was coming from but i did locate it. if i remember correctly it was somewhere by the steering column. did you ever get it fixed????

When it's dark outside, have someone hold a flashlight down into the firewall. Position your body/head down by the pedals, and look for the light. When you find the source, use some clear RTV silicone to seal it...
