Something is wrong with my A/C any suggsestions?
I do not have a VQ with dual intakes like yours, mine is just a single and my engine bay is configured differently, but I can tell you pretty confidently that the white box you are refering to is your coolant overflow reservoir. there should be an indication as to a correct cool coolant line and your car should be within the high and low lines
I can also tell you that the coolant in the overflow has nothing to do with your A/C.
Your air con is warm most likely because you need an evacuation and recharge of you air conditioning system. It is most likely low or completely out of freon (assuming it uses freon, some cars use different gases). A/C systems leak gas over time an it is mostly unavoidable, however if a rapid or repeated loss of your charge is evident, you most likely have a leak that needs to be addressed.
Special evac. and recharge equipment as well as the gas itself is required to return your A/C to normal, it is not something you can do yourself. Your dealership can surely help you with this issue and if your Z is under warranty I would recommend going through them, but if not It would be much cheaper for you to go through a local automotive repair shop, as this is a very common issue that is easily addressed, especially in these hot summer months as people become more reliant on their air con.
Hope that helps.

year of car and how many miles? simple solution would be getting your AC recharge with 134a bottle.

Did you look at the a/c radiator? down there, low to the ground with no protection waiting for bits o crap to poke a hole in it?
AND Threadjacking a little as i've had this similar problem recently
3 times over last ~2 weeks when starting car the a/c won't put out any cold air - [the light on the A/C switch is on / fan on] ALSO during these 3 times the tach was not working '0' revs while noticebly the engine was running (driving down the road, slapping buttons and swearing the first time)
if i stop the engine / remove / reinsert key and try again it will start with a/c & tach working within 2-3 tries - dreading getting stuck with no a/c (summer FL)
will take it stealership but would like to have some direction to point them in as they scratch their ballz and say 'it's working now'
whle i've got your attention - anyone who has gotten trans replaced under warranty - how bad / how often was the gears grunching - i've got an occasional loud 5th gear grunch (~1 in 10 shifts) - the've test drove it during 3 different oil changes over the past 2 years and keep saying 'not bad enuff' - any hints on getting them to fix this other than going john Q public on them?
Thanks!
