Mine are showing some wear at 2300 miles, some of the black thread is frayed on one of the squares that makes up the texture. My dealer said it would be covered under warranty but it was too minor right now to send to Nissan. He said to keep an eye on it and when/if it got any worse that he would take care of me.

Has anyone had their seats replaced by Nissian? I was thinking of going with Recaros or Sparco seats in the Spring but now I feel like I should have it replaced on principle.

Plan B: does anyone out there know of a good place in Central NY to have the seats done in leather?

I love this car but I have had to put up with some minor annoyances that shouldn't occur with a $32,000 car.

my 350 has 5000 miles on it both cloth seats are are fraying.my tr.anny is grinding going into 3rd and my dash corner panels are squicking and rattling. no word from the dealer yet i just took it in yesterday.

 

There is already a thread dedicated to this topic. Use the search function. You will find the TSB number in there as well. Your dealer will replace the cloth. Good luck.

This is a great site but with almost 500,000 post the search function is a little stressed.
