Bad Fuelpump?
I searched the forums and couldn't find anything helpful. Hope you guys can help me. I was cruising to work this morning and before I hit 3rd gear, the car completely shutoff with no stuttering or spittin. I thought it was my alternator or battery but when I tried jumping it with cables, the car sounded like it was weak. So the place I pulled into happend to be a mechanic shop and he brought a booster for the battery and it wanted to crank over but wouldn't start like it's not getting any fuel. When he took it off, the battery sounded like it was weak again. I'm not sure if the fuelpump might have shorted out somewhere and it's killing the battery or what. Anybody got an idea on what the issue could be? THANKS!!

How old is the battery?
Can you hear the pump turn on. To check that, pull the passenger seat up. Open the compartment behind the seat. Pull up the mat and listen to the pump while you put the key to the "ON" position. If it humms, its good. Then you gotta make sure your gettin fuel to the injectors and that injectors are actually spraying. Refer to service manual for the rest. lol
