Unhappy The tranny rattle again

Yes, yes, i know that the rattling at idle from the 350's transmission is a normal trait of the car. i also know it can sometimes be so loud that it sounds like i have a diesel engine. But should i be concerned if the noise changes tune? Its the same sort of rattling that i would always hear but it seems to have "evolved". Should i look into this? or just drive my z like i always do and ignore it?

Thank You,

Matt

You have a stock flywheel? If so, it should never sound like a diesel. If the rattling is getting worst, obviously something is wrong = get it checked out.

yes its a stock flywheel and its doesn't sound exactly like a diesel engine. Thats an exaggeration, but it does rattle a lot after 1:30-2 hrs of constant driving. i was told its normal, but it seems to be changing tune slightly which has got me worried.

Hmm. Don't worry about it until it NOTICEABLY becomes worse.
