Default scratch on my new headlights

Sup guys, just got my 06 bixenon headlights and for some reason i got this 2inch hairline scratch. It isnt deep, but its deep enough where it catches my finger nails BARELY. Its really bothering me since thats the first thing i see when i look at my beautiful new headlights My question is, is there something that can fill in the scratch to make it less visible? I know for a fact a simple buff wont take this out (had my old ones buffed). Any suggestions will be appreciated

Thanks

I do head light restoration on the side for some extra cash. If you want to get rid of that scratch you'll need to wetsand/buff it out.

I use 1500grit followed by 2500. Small foam pad. Polished with meguiars plastX

Thanks for the video, thing is thats the same exact thing we did on my last headlights. It brought back the clear look and took out most of the swirls but the deep scratches were still there. I dont think that will help with my scratch since its pretty deep.

Also dont we have a clear coat on these headlights? Wont buffing it out remove them?

im guessing theres nothing to fill in the scratch with to make it less visible? I really dont want to buff my headlights completely since i just got em. Its just that one little 2inch scratch that i want to get rid of. Again its not that deep, just deep enough to catch my nail(hairline scratch). Ill take a pic soon, if needed.

I don't believe there is a clear coat on the headlights.
