Transmission & VIN #

Does anyone know if the transmission problem was fixed during a certain vintage #?

Don't know? good question. I have vin # 235, got my car in August 2002, 20,000 miles and no problems. Some of these tranny problmes are for real and some are due to bad driving habits in my opinion.

My VIN is 5412 - Touring model
Purchased Oct 2002 (Pre-Order)
1st transmission replaced at just over 3K- third gear grind (even the tech manager couldn't shift into 3rd)
2nd Transmission replaced at 13K - third gear grind
3rd transmission is just now starting to catch in 5th.

I'm amazed that Nissan hasn't resolved this yet.
