Sup guys, last week i replaced a bad o2 sensor, cleaned my maf with maf cleaner and wiped down my throttle body. Well today while driving my car started sputtering/bogging. Couldnt go past 2k rpm then suddenly stalled. Tried to start it up and it would just start over but not fully start. Pushed car in front of a house and started it up. Took me 15 tries till it started. Anyone have any ideas? My car was fine yesterday. And no codes. Im kinda scared this would happen to me in the middle of the HW
Thanks

Thanks

fuel level was 1/4, almost empty. And how do i check the fuel pump? Ill look into that tomorrow and check inside the intake manifold. Wasnt there a TSB on the fuel pump for 03 350z??? My car was never serviced for those. Not sure if there is tho.
thanks

Well i think i found the problem. Thing is im not sure how lol. Last night it happened again but this time in the HW
I had to leave it on the side of the road overnight. This morning we crank it up but nothing. We take a look under the hood and see that one of the ground wire was loose (i took off my aftermarket grounding kit and i put the plastic tab before the stock ground wire). We took off the plastic, put it on top of the ground wire and torqued it down and it started fine. Went home and it happened again, heard a LOUD pop out my exhaust and stalled. Look under the hood and this time i completely took off the plastic tab and bolted the ground wire to a different location then bam, started fine. I played around with it and everytime i pulled that one grounding wire it would stall. Can one ground wire cause my car to stall and not start up? My car is still not running right, feels like it wants to stall. Makes me think i messed up on the rest of the grounding wires. Inputs?

Retorqued all the bolts. HOwever i still have this weird idle problem. Seems like it wants to stall. Almost sounds like i have a leak. Anyone?
-Last week i changed out my o2 sensor to fix an engine light
-Cleaned out my maf with maf cleaner
-wiped down my throttle body
-then two days ago i took off my aftermarket ground kit and as soon as i did i stalled out in the street. Car worked fine before this
Anyone know wats going on?? Rough idle, Stalling, strong gas smell, backfires etc. are some of the symptoms.

I had this issue with an old Civic hatch. I would assume the Fuel Pump has intermittent problems. Eventually it wont be able to provide enough juice to start the vehicle. I would check that and clean out the tank while you're down there. Not sure how much of a pain it is to remove the fuel tank from our Zs. The tank should be taken to someone to be professionally cleaned.
Let us know when you peg down the issue!

Yea i thought it could be my fuel pump too. Ill fill up my gas today to see. The 3x it happened i had low gas(bad habit but i always drive around with low gas putting stress on the fuel pump. Maybe it went out). But thing that gets me is as soon as i took off my ground wires, i started getting this problem. Does anyone know how many ground points there are? I can see only three on the passenger side of the engine bay. Should there be more?

Just put half a tank of gas in the car. Still having a rough idle. I know for a fact if i drive the car it will stall. From the 3x i stalled in the street it was after pushing the car hard. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
