Since I believe in the KISS theory - Keep It Simple Stupid - I'll try to save the newbie from the flames. Search is your friend. And no one should be posting questions until they read the Top 100 common questions thread.

Edit - exactly why would you buy a car with a window motor not working and then, and only then, post the question why? Not flaming, just extremely curious. Also kind of begs the question how closely you checked this car out if a simple thing like a window motor not working escaped your attention.

^because he's young and bought his first real sports car

and yes, your window motor is out OP...just use the search function as there are MANY threads on DIY repair and talk about it...if you don't have a warranty then look to pay anywhere from $250-500, top end including labor at a shop/dealership

Thanks man, Thats all i needed to know. I wasn't sure if it was that or the regulator.

To all of you other "experts" that are wondering why I bought a Z with a broken window, because i got it for 11k. I tried to use the search function but i couldnt find anything to useful, so i figured why not make my first post.

I've found a window motor online for $103 and i'm gonna install it myself

don't buy a used power window motor, you will just run into the same issue sooner
