Default Penzoil Full Synthetic ($20) at Walmart

Went to Wally world today and saw a pretty good deal. Penzoil full synthetic 5qt for $20. Comes with a $15 mail in wal mart gift card. Limit two gift cards.

I picked up 10 qts (2-5 quart jugs for the wifes car. FYI, for those that like saving $!

YW!

Walmart is pretty cheap. I wont lie, I used it a few times in the Z with no problems at all. It comes in a perfect 5 QTs too!

Penzoil.... I have too much respect for my lawnmower to use that crap. (Honda) Spend a little more and get quality synthetic like Mobil 1 or really step up and start using Red Line and quality filters. If you really respect your Nissan products like I do you'll change it every 4K miles or 90 days which ever comes first....

I despise walmart too much to step foot in there and I wouldn't put penzoil in my car.

Wow. I hate Walmart, but can't beat that price. I need some oil for the end of the tracking season... looks like I get to feed the monster.

Penzoil Platinum (I asume this is what the OP refers to) has tested out very well vs Mobil 1 etc.. on BITOG forums. Especially at the normal 3-4-5k change intervals that everyone uses.

Mobil 1 is just another grpIII synthetic like PP, Castrol syntec etc.. etc.. etc...

I'd go elsewhere also if anyone had these oils in the 5 qt containers at a similar price but they don't.

I think Penzoil only has the one kind of synthetic, so I'm guessing it is the Platinum as well. I thought the same thing when I read the OP. It really is a good deal. Autozone always seems to have a deal for 5 qts of a certain brand of synthetic, and a filter for 28... Bout a wash as far as a deal goes. Last trip to autozone I got 5qts of german castrol, k&n filter, and two quarts of rear diff fluid for 48 dollars. 28 of it was the oil n filter.

just a couple pennies...

This deal is legit. I thought I'd be paying $35 per 5qt bottle - then getting the $15 back to equal $20.. but NO> $20 per 5qt bottle (either Penzoil Platinum 5w or 10w-30).. Then you get a $15 gift card.

It's almost like getting 5qts of Penzoil Platinum for $5. Sorry, I change my oil too much to NOT pass this up.. I don't care how evil Walmart is.

Anywhere else I'd be paying at least $5.99 per 1qt, or $30 for 5qts. Thanks zand02

Too bad M1 does worse in tests than Penzoil Plat does that he just purchased. Actually PP is the best store bought one available right now that has the best protection from Blackstone labs. Might want to do some research and get off the M1 kick as M1 has gone to crap even worse than Castrol GTX dino oil now.

Time to pick up a few.
