I have an 08 350z with 6200m on it. I decided not to do the 3500 mile service thinking the dealer was just trying to make another dime off of me.

1. When should I bring the car in for service and what should I ask them to do, each dealer seems to charge different amounts, even if you ask for the recommended service.
2. How much should I expect to pay?
3. Any recommended dealers in NJ? I have 20" rims on the car. Must expect the dealer can put my car on the rack.

I mostly drive on freeways-very little wear and tear. I do have staggered rims so I guess a tire rotation wont work.

Please advise, I plan on asking for the 2008 recall as well at the same time.

 

71,000 miles and I have never had periodic maintenance done at the dealer. Many of the maintenance items, lubricate door hinges for example, are frivolous. Oil and filter should run you less than $40.

well you should've gotten changed oil least when you hit 3500

 

i think you can't rotate the tires on a 07-08z
