So last night my alarm kept going off every 20-30 minutes till I disengaged the alarm and left the car unlocked. (Car was garaged) Does anyone know what this could be. I have a brand new battery in the car. I know it is some sort of malfunction, but not sure what. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Check the terminal battery connection to see if its tightened fully.

 

I did. Its tight. Its a wierd problem because I know after I park my car at home and turn on the alarm, it does not go off, but about 4 hours later it starts going off every 20 to 30 minutes. Whats up with the 4 hour delay of the alarm not setting off. Very odd.
