Default Code P1103 MAP Sensor Heater

pulled the code P1103 MAP Sensor Heater. the SES light came on out of the blue. car is running great however few weeks ago SES light came on with other codes which when rest the SES light, codes never came back on again. This time got the MAP Sensor Heater... Does anyone know anything about this code? does the mass air sensor need to be cleaned with Carb cleaner? reset the SES light today and not sure if the light will go back on again since i didnt address the problem. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

To tell you the truth, I didn't think the Z had a MAP sensor. I know that a lot of the guys who go turbo have to install them. None of the 03-07 Z service manuals list 1103 as a valid code so I'm confused as to how/why you would get one.

thanks for the response. found the code by doing the self diagnoses with the SES light and ignition and gas pedal. the other codes that it threw a few weeks ago was a broken ECU. the light hasn't come back on for any of the codes. hope the car is alright.

when it thru the ECU code, the car turned over but didn't want to start but after reseting the codes, the car started fine.

Next time, take it to an Autozone and get them to read the code with a scanner.
