Was curious if anyone actually knew what was all included when Nissan "Lubricate Chasis" during regular service visits? It's always listed on the bill and was curious if this is just a door hinge greasing or more involved? THank you for any help.

 

that's when they **** on your hood and almost wreck your car.

 

there are certain points along the chassis that need to be greased and/or lubricated. certain contact points dealing with joints, bushings, and flex points along the chassis.

 

Little difficult to lubricate the chassis. Suspension components are sealed. Cant remember the last time I had a car with grease fittings.

 

That's what I was thinking, what is there to grease? I was just thinking of what else I could do as far as maintenance that Nissan would do.

 

more like door hinges hood stoppers trust me don't do 15k serv or 30 serv just do what you really need to do for example belts filters fluids like that will save your money and don't need those additives they have at dealership
