Unhappy HEEEEEEEELPPPPPPPP Please!!!! Thanks

OK, guys. Here is my Revving Problem.

When im doing (ANY) Speed after second gear, So technically Sh** happens from 3rd on. My Revs jump easily ranging from 300 to 1000 RPM's while doing this it pushes the car forward but then the RPM's will drop down back to normal increasing the speed. so it would make a sound like if i was pressing on the clutch and not letting go the gas. This Happen After i put my HKS P. Exhaust, MD Lower Plenum/ISO 5/16Spacer. Also My clutch was acting a little weird which is why i also think it might have to do something with it as well. It will give me hard time when racing shifting to 5th/6 gear, it takes quite some seconds before it allows me to put it on 5th/6 gear sometimes it will just kick me back to Neutral. Do you guys/gals think this might have to do something with my clutch or any of the MODs i added??. Also the Car hasn't been tuned or anything but i am waiting on getting other parts for me to do a tune. Please Help. Thank you

I really appreciate all of those who read this and comment back to me. Thank you.

here is a link to a video that i made and i sorry for the (IPhone)quality. Please pay close attention to the RPM's.

What you did is a clutch slip test. The clutch disc is not holding the flywheel.

I would try an ECU reset first an see what happens after that. Since you just did some breathing mods you may have a leek and it's throwing the car in limp mode.

Will the Rev's go up when just sitting still an rev'ing it up?

Time for a clutch replacement. Best test to do is drive up a steep hill and see if your RPM's climb while keeping the same throttle position. If it does you def have a slipping clutch.

Do you smell a strong odor after it does this? Try taking off hard in first or second (if its the clutch it should slip) Then stop and take a sniff when the clutch starts slipping it makes a god awful smell. Judging from the video I would bet my money on a clutch. Time to upgrade

Thank you for the Info. You are Right about the breathing mods i just did, am gonna do a ecu reset and see what happens, if that helps im gonna be super happy.

When sitting still and rev'ing it up the rev's do go up.

That is exactly what pisses me off. I take off on first or second and it hauls *** like mf all the way and the clutch dont slip or smell bad. When taking off all through out the gears, it takes seconds to engage on 5th gear most and im saying most of the times the same when shifting to 6.

great video to show us whats happening.... but please dont shoot a video with one hand doing 120 mph on public streets.

It seems to be clutch related. Did it happen when you went for a test drive after the new mods or a few days later?

Yes it Started Happening the day after i was done putting/testing the mods on the car.

I know is dangerous to do 120mph in a public street but this was an open road and there was only one car in front of me and he was like far ahead of me, u can see him at the end of the video when i caught up to him :P. But yeah you are right to not speed on public streets i just wanted to show u guys that it does this on every gear that it is just not a one gear thing.. .....
