hey Manny good to finally see a vid, the problem putting it into 5th and 6th would in my opinion be the clutch however watching this video makes me think it could be something else effecting the RPM's. Upgrading the clutch is something you want to do regardless when moding your Z. Between that and reseting the ECU you should hopefully diagnose and fix your problem. Let me know if you need any help...

If the clutch was starting to have some issues before the mods, putting more power mods on the car and taking it for a test drive with your "butt dyno" might have made your clutch throw in the towel.

Well i went ahead yesterday and reset the ECU and nothing happened. I took it to the Nissan Dealership and they said that my problem is the clutch disk that is not gripping on the flywheel and that the clutch could be bad as well, end of story a new clutch needs to come in place.

What i am going to do is change the clutch disk, get a new clutch and a lighter flywheel because if the shop will be messing around with the transmission i might as well get the whole deal and get over the transmission part. of course i will not do this with Nissan since they charge an arm/leg on labor jejej :P......Besides the stock clutch would not handle the plans that i have for it and if now is the time to change it oh well, here we go.

Now i have a different problem.
TODAY AT MY BODY'S HOUSE WHEN HE WAS LEAVING FOR WORK EARLY IN THE MORNING HE HIT MY Z ...BUT THEY INSURANCE WILL FIX IT ..STILL IT HURTZZZ...... LOL...

i was just thinking that when sh** is going to break or happen i guess it always happens all at once man, its crazy. well guys hopefully i get the clutch fixed later on in the summer and the passenger side fixed as well over the next week. On the clutch i guess is time for me to start searching for a complete clutch kit with nice quality no more than $1000.00. Right now i am looking at the Z1's they got.

Thank you everyone for giving me your opinions, i really appreciated them. Thank you.

agree with previous posts, sounds like the clutch is slipping. You should be able to "feel" it slipping. Revs go up and no grip on the rear wheels. Does it mostly happen when on an incline with moderate accel. or when you appy the metal to the pedal hard? yes? ...
Obviously check the clutch although I have seen this problem caused by gearbox gear wear problems. Unless you have hammered the box or its very old , most likely clutch slipping.

Gee.

yes you are right, i will press the gas and no grips whats so ever, my rpm will just go up high and then grip, it was making me look bad and i bet people though i did not know how to shift, but who cares haha.

i went ahead and bought a ACT stage 2 clutch and street light flywheel after it left me in the middle of the road at 2am in the morning. i took pics of the clutch and GOD it was bad im talking bad, i touched and it was falling in carbon pieces completely burnt and the flywheel had burnt spots. thanks God everything is good to go now.

Now i am just in the process of breaking it in, it is so much stronger now and im very happy with the set up on clutch/flywheel i got...

Thanks everyone that answer to my thread and help me in some kind of way...
