P1163 pending code
I have an 03 350z w/ 67k miles and the SES light IS NOT on, however I hooked up my diagnostic scanner just for fun and I found there is a PENDING code for P1163 so I imagine the code may pop up soon. The car runs fine other than a very slight stumble at idle here and there. From my research I have found that this means one of the following:
P1163 Heated O2 Sensor 1
P1163 Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Lean Shift Monitoring (Bank 2)
I have also read in other Nissan forums that when receiving this code it is a good idea to first check for a dirty MAF and bad grounds, which I plan to do. Does anybody have any other suggestions on what to check before replacing the expensive o2 sensor? Thanks in advance.

Update: SES light came on, but the code found is different from the original... but with the same general meaning. The code found is P0174 Fuel System Lean, Bank 2. Both the previous pending code and the current code point to Bank 2 specifically. I would think if it is the MAF it would not be specific to one bank. I'm thinking o2 sensor on bank 2 or dirty/clogged fuel injector.. has anybody experienced this code, if so what was the solution?

Unfortunately nobody here was able to provide any help, so I will follow-up in hopes that this thread will help somebody in the future. I connected the diagnostic cable and monitored the bank 2 o2 sensor readings on several occasions and saw that bank 2 would stay in warm up mode excessively long then stay in open loop due to system fault on bank 2. Also, the voltage for bank 2 o2 sensor was not fluctuating back and forth like it should, it tended to just stay around .290 volts. I replaced the bank 2 sensor 1 o2 sensor and now the voltage readings are normal and there are no pending codes and no SES light on
