Default Evans NPG+

I just received my 3 gallons of the NPG+. I was thinking of using the Evans Prep Fluid instead of opening the block drains. It is important to remove as much as water possible before running Evans. Also, I have considered removing the coolant bypass hose. I currently run without a thermostat and removing the hose would push all the water thru the radiator. Has anybody used either methods? Please share your thoughts....Thanks
