Power steering problem!!

So the passenger side of my car starts smoking and its nearly impossible to turn .. So i pop the hood and theres power steering power all over the engine bay and the containers empty .. Whats wrong?

Did the stealership forget to put the cap back on or what? If it was overfilled it will come out for sure popping the cap off.

no the cap wasn't popped off nor was the fluid over filled .. i think one of the lines came apart

Never heard of a pump exploding. Hoses bursting is the most common failure, especially if it's that sudden and severe.

i looked today bc i didnt have the proper lighting last night .. it looks like the seal from the pump(between the pulley&pump) broke bc the fluid is spitting out from there when the pulley turns ..
