Mine started as a vibration, then the metal clanks just behind the passenger door. Took a while to start making noise, then started as I hit even small bumps. Didn't even want to drive the car. Had Nissan check it out and they determined it was the cross member just behind the center of the chasis. When my Stillen exhaust warmed up, it must have expanded somewhat and touched the steel cross member. When they removed the cross member, they found shiny steel and a little rust where the right exhaust pipe was touching. They shimmed the cross member a bit and the noise is gone! Rob at Hawkinson Nissan in Matteson, Illinois did a great job of pinpointing and fixing.

 

Anyone find a fix for this. It is really driving me nutts right now and i cant figure it out.!!!
