I've been browsing thru this forum before posting and I'm starting to get paranoid about my transmission now.

Touring. Bought in July 03. 6-speed. I noticed about a week ago that shifting in to 5th feels kinda... Weird. I don't know exactly how to describe it. The stick sorta rocks forward and feels like it went all the way in to fifth, but as I'm releasing the clutch I feel it rock forward again all the way in to fifth. I've grinded it twice on accident from it doing this.

I thought maybe I was just being careless and not applying enough pressure when shifting, but that's not the case. I've been paying close attention since then, and something definitely feels screwy with 5th. Comments?
