Unhappy Under Shroud Hit

So yesterday im driving back from LA to SB and I take an exit to take a leak, anyway it was super foggy and I couldn't see very well and I end up doing a U-turn and the road was slightly higher than the sand/gravel area that was on the sides, so I had my two front tires go into the gravel and I heard a loud THUMP!... I got out of the car, looked and the road hit right where the plastic under shroud is, so basically the car was hanging on the side of the road... I checked for oil leaks but none to be found..
My question is: Is there anything around that area that I should check or have checked out? It was a pretty loud bang and I hope nothings busted ...
Also I noticed how my AC was only blowing hot air but I didn't use AC on my trip down or back so im not sure if this incident caused it...

My next purchase will definitely be one of those aluminum undershroud ...

Main thing I'd be worried about is a dented oil pan, in which case should be replaced asap. Basically just pull the shroud down and check for anything that looks broken or bent. Grab some ramps and a 10mm nutdriver, it shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes.

Have it checked out, but it was probably your lower control arm or front cradle which are both very solid... I scrape won't hurt them. You will definetely have more piece of mind knowing what you hit.

Thanks guys for the replies.. My ac came back on and its blowing cold again.. Im going to get my oil changed this week so Im going to have it lifted so I can check out the shroud...
My friend has a lowered Z with a Veilside lip and I cant even imagine driving it since driving my stock is hard enough trying to avoid potholes and messed up roads.. So-Cal needs to seriously fix some roads here.
