Throttle Sensor 2 P1224
I got this CEL Monday night and it put my car into limp mode where my max speed was 8mph. I turned off the car for 10 seconds then turned it back on and it was 100% okay. CEL stayed on and today I went into Advanced Auto Parts and Pepboys and they both said its was the throttle sensor on the top portion of the intake.
Each time after they read the codes the car would go into limp mode again. But just turning it off and on would bring me out of limp mode.
Now according to both employees they said that most likely the sensor is just incorrectly reading the voltage and that nothing is wrong with the car.
I tried having it reset but it just came back on.
Anyone have experience with this issue?
I have 2005 with 39,000 miles btw.

I just wanted to update just in case anyone else has the same problem in the future.
Over the last 2 weeks my car only went into limp mode twice but I saw a major mpg decrease. The sensor was definitely bad.
I brought it to the dealer and they came up with $386 for the repair. I called the parts department and the throttle body is $194. I thought the $190 for labor was high but I called my local trusted shop and they told me straight up that the dealer was coming in lower than they could.
I read online on 350zmotoring that someone only paid an hour of labor ($80) but I guess its YMMV in that case. They have to install and calibrate the sensor.
