Default When should I change the LSD Fluid?

I'm new to the whole sports car thing, just wondering how many miles I can put on my car before I'm supposed to change the fluid. Also, does it depend on my driving style or not?

Depends on what you're doing to the car. During my 5th track weekend, I started to smell something burning (happened to be my diff fluid). I flushed it out with fresh fluid after that and I was at 12K miles. If you're not tracking the car, you're not going to generate enough heat to break down the fluid quickly. So for a normal driver, you could probably go 30K... I'd check the service manual though first...

I looked in the service manual and I didn't see any mention of changing it (or at least a recommended interval). I agree with John though, if you drive it very hard, I would change it probably every few oil changes. Normal driving is probably every 50,000. The plus side of changing it is you get to have the wonderful experience of smelling 90W gear oil.
