Default Hatch does't open and the sub is not working on my new Z

Hi everyone here,i am very new to Nissan as i drove Honda and Acura all of my life. So,i bought a 2003 touring Z (no navigation) today with a very nice deal but here are some issues i have so far.
1)This Z came with an aftermarket navigation but since i don't need it so the previous owner had his friend to remove the unit. Then, after that, the trunk does not open anymore. This car does come with an aftermarket alarm system (not the original remote control),i can still open and lock the door but just can't open the trunk
2)The two speakers located behind the seats does not sound very loud,i just can barely here it and the worst part is the BOSE subwoofer does't play at all.
I took the care to a local audio shop but they were about to close so they asked me to come back on monday, they said they would open everything out to see what the previous owner have done with wires and stuff. Its a shame but i spent all the money i have into a car so i don't have any extra money left,do you think these issues are easy to fix ? I hear someones says that i need to take my car to the dealer to replace the whole trunk and rewire everything.OMG,its killing me to do that.
PSlease do not flame me if you see my post in another forum,i just need advice from expert.

So your hatch doesnt open with the aftermarket remote?
Does it still open when you use the button next to license plate?

Also, is the factory head unit there, or is it aftermarket

Hi
My hatch does not open with the remote nor the button next to the license plate, there's only one way to open it by pulling the emergency hatch release that located inside the trunk.
And yes,the head unit is the factory one.
PS:the hatch was open with the aftermarket remote control before the previous owner had his friend to remove to Panasonic navigation system.

You might try checking the fuse box to see if any thing is blown.
