Default Checking & Refilling Coolant Question

Hi guys, i accidentally spilled some coolant and I want to refill them and have a few questions.

1.) If I want to reflush my coolant, where do I release the coolant from? I suppose I can't just unclamp the hose and dump out all the coolant right?

2.) How do I check the coolant level? On the coolant reservoir tank, there isn't an indicator regarding how much coolant is considered Full or Empty.

3.) Is it ok to add another brand of coolant to my existing coolant just to refill the spill without dumping all the old coolant out?

Thanks!

All your questions are answered in the Owners Manual in the Maintenance and Do-It-Yourself section under "Engine Cooling".

There is a petcock on the driver side bottom just like any other rad.
There is a min / max line on the side of the reservoir.
Make sure you use Nissan coolant only or another HOAT antifreeze which is next to impossible to find in parts stores.
Be aware that there is a bleeder screw in the heater hose on the passenger side to help get the air out of the system after refil, make sure this is open when refilling.
Good luck!
